Senior Odoo Consultant – Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Odoo Consultant to lead the analysis, design, implementation, and optimization of Odoo ERP solutions. The ideal candidate has strong functional and technical knowledge of Odoo, extensive business process experience, and the ability to manage ERP implementations from requirements gathering through post-go-live support.
The Senior Odoo Consultant will work closely with clients, project managers, business stakeholders, developers, and support teams to deliver high-quality ERP solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
Conduct discovery workshops with stakeholders.
Analyze existing business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Recommend ERP best practices and process improvements.
Odoo Functional Consulting
Configure Odoo modules according to business requirements.
Design end-to-end ERP solutions.
Lead implementation of standard Odoo features before considering customization.
Perform gap analysis between business requirements and Odoo capabilities.
Define workflows, approval processes, and automation.
Project Implementation
Lead full Odoo implementation projects.
Define implementation roadmaps and project plans.
Coordinate with developers for custom developments.
Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Manage production deployment and go-live activities.
Client Management
Act as the primary functional advisor for clients.
Present solutions and demonstrations.
Conduct workshops and training sessions.
Manage stakeholder expectations.
Build long-term customer relationships.

Develop functional test scenarios.

Support & Continuous Improvement
Provide post-implementation support.
Analyze reported issues.
Recommend process enhancements.

Experience Requirements
5–8+ years of ERP consulting experience.
4–6+ years of hands-on Odoo implementation experience.
Experience leading multiple end-to-end Odoo implementations.
Experience with enterprise-scale projects.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Experience managing client relationships and executive stakeholders.
